Helping Taylor and Alex manage and style their wedding at The Hare Wine Co. was a beautiful collaboration of creativity and trust. Everything about this day was envisioned by Taylor. She had a clear vision of an elegant, vintage-inspired celebration and poured so much of herself into the details, hand-selecting every piece of decor. From sourcing toile-inspired vases at vintage shops across Canada and the U.S. to curating their menu cards and stationery, the couple brought personal touches to each element.

My role at Lindsay Plank Events was to seamlessly bring their vision together, executing and styling every detail to perfection. I stepped in eight weeks before the wedding to help manage the wedding day and coordinate all the details. I took their unique pieces and wove them into a cohesive, timeless design that perfectly complemented their vision. It was a joy to see their hard work and style come to life on their wedding day!

Wedding Ceremony and Reception at The Hare Wine Co.

The Hare Wine Co. is one of my favourite venues to work with, and it fit the vision for Taylor and Alex’s wedding perfectly. The large stone courtyard was an ideal space for their ceremony. The European-inspired space complimented the vintage details Taylor had so carefully chosen.

During the reception, Taylor and Alex escaped into the vineyards for their bride and groom portraits. Taking advantage of the golden light that fell over the expansive grounds, they were able to enjoy some special time alone while spending cocktail hour with their guests. Then, they rejoined their guests in the Hare Wine Co.’s barrel room for the rest of the reception. This space is one of the many reasons I love working at this venue - it’s warm, intimate, and filled with character, making it ideal for a beautifully styled dinner party. Once dinner and speeches were finished, the dance floor opened up and filled with guests happy to celebrate the couple! Every moment was effortlessly woven together, allowing the couple to fully embrace and enjoy their day without a second thought about logistics.

A Collaborative Approach to Wedding Planning & Design

The bride, Taylor, was very hands-on and sourced many of the personal elements for the wedding, including candles, vases, and stationery. My role was to execute her vision, ensuring every piece worked together harmoniously while handling the logistics and final day of styling. The result was a personal, unforgettable experience that allowed the couple to be fully present without worrying about the details.
