When this lovely couple first reached out to Lindsay Plank Events, they brought a clear canvas anchored by an incredible venue: the picturesque Rock Garden at Royal Botanical Gardens. They knew they wanted a day that felt special and enchanting, but beyond a general vibe, the design was wide open. We set out to turn that quiet vision into a rich, living aesthetic tailored entirely to their story.

The visual direction blossomed around a soft, joyful colour palette. Their bridal party wore gowns in delicate pastel hues of lavender, sage, butter yellow, and forest green, perfectly contrasted by organic bouquets from Emma of Simply Elegant by Emma. Filled with lush peonies, ruffled lisianthus, and sweet peas, the florals anchored the day’s playful yet elegant tone.

Before gathering with family and friends, the couple stepped away into the quiet beauty of the grounds for a private first look. Tucked among the stone paths and lush greenery, they exchanged personal vows in an intimate moment just for themselves. Later, Bryan of BCausLove officiated their ceremony, sharing a personalized narrative that captured their connection and spoke directly to who they are together.

As evening arrived, guests transitioned into the sunlit, floor-to-ceiling glass reception space, where garden whimsical details truly came to life. Long wooden harvest tables lined with white vineyard cross-back chairs anchored the room. Deep green velvet napkins resting on delicate scalloped chargers provided a rich texture beneath abundant floral arrangements and warm, flickering candlelight, filling the venue with an unforgettable, romantic glow from dusk into the night.
