MY TOP 5 NIAGARA WINERY WEDDING VENUES
The Niagara Region is one of Canada’s top wedding destinations and is home to an array of gorgeous wedding venues. Not only is the region the perfect place for a wedding but it’s also the place where wine lovers come to check out over 50 local wineries! If you and your partner are wine lovers, considering one of the many Niagara winery wedding venues is a great way to celebrate the two of you.

1. Kurtz Orchards
The first of the Niagara winery wedding venues to make this list is the beautiful Kurtz Orchards. This spectacular venue is located in the beautiful town of Niagara on the Lake. If you’re looking for a truly Niagara winery wedding you will love the outdoorsy yet elegant feel of this venue. The venue is surrounded by vineyards, mature orchards and Italian-style gardens. If exceptional cuisine is top of your list, Kurtz Orchards is definitely a gourmet foodie’s dream! Just picture a Tuscan-style dining experience underneath the orchards with delicious wine to complement your farm-to-table menu. If you prefer an indoor venue (or for a weatherproof alternative) you can also use the gorgeous Kurtz Orchard Market building. They have stunning chandeliers, raw edge harvest tables, and dark mahogany Chiavari chairs for a rustic yet elegant wedding. 2. Inn on The Twenty
Heading up to Jordan Station, the Inn on the Twenty is another of my favourite Niagara winery wedding venues. This beautiful winery wedding option has a few different rooms and venue options based on your style; Wine Library, Jordan Room, Valley Room, Windows on The Twenty and The Barns. If you love the outdoors, you can have your ceremony outdoors with the backdrop of the vineyards. If you are looking for a rustic feel to your wedding, they have a Barnhouse that can be used for your reception. The Barns at Cave Spring Vineyard with a rooftop patio, and an alternating room with garage and glass doors that open to create an indoor, outdoor dining experience. Alternatively, if you envision a more sophisticated look, then their indoor venue has large windows overlooking the vineyard. One of the other things we love is that they have accommodations on site so you can get ready on-site and stay overnight after your big day.
3. Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery
Another fan favourite of wedding vendors in the Niagara region is the Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery. This venue is located in the heart of Niagara, in the prestigious town of St Davids. The venue buildings have a historical charm that almost makes you feel like you’re in Europe. Depending on your guest count, there are a number of different event spaces located within Ravine. You can have a smaller wedding for up to 60 people in the wine cellar. This is perfect for a small evening wedding where you can have a candlelight reception and focus on delicious food & wine. For larger weddings, you can use their new event facility with wrap-around glass with views of the vineyards. They also have a wrap-around terrace so you can enjoy that indoor/outdoor feel at this venue.
4. Stratus Winery
Stratus Winery knows exactly how to fuse spectacular food with delicious wines. If a unique guest experience is something that’s important to you, they know how to wow. This Niagara on the Lake winery is a more contemporary, modern feeling wedding venue. For the ceremony, you can choose to get married with the backdrop of the vineyards. For cocktail hour, you can head over to their tasting rooms with the option of including their signature ice wine martini! They have both indoor & outdoor options for your reception depending on the season. One of my favourites is the Stratus Press Alley which is a modern industrial feel surrounded by the fermenting tanks & oak barrels. If you love the moody style of photography, this is such a perfect backdrop for those photos.
5. Honsberger Estate Winery
They love to support local and grow many of their own ingredients on-site! This venue definitely has a very rustic yet elegant feel and provides a farm-to-table wine & dining experience that you and your guests will love.
